Northern Virginia Court System
Virginia’s Judicial System has courthouses in Northern Virginia located in Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Prince William and Loudoun Counties. Each county has a General District Court, a Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, and a Circuit Court.
Jurisdictions

Fairfax County
A native of Fairfax County, Sara Leiner Schuler practices all aspects of divorce and family law in the Fairfax County Circuit Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Fairfax County.
Arlington County
Ms. Schuler regularly appears in the Arlington County Circuit Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Arlington County.
Loudoun County
There are currently five Circuit Court judges and three Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court judges in Loudoun County.
Loudoun County is made up of 520 square miles and has a population of more than Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand people.
Alexandria
Sara Leiner Schuler practices all aspects of divorce and family law in the City of Alexandria Circuit Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of the City of Alexandria.
Prince William
The Circuit Court typically only hears family law matters when there is a divorce pending. When neither party has filed for divorce, issues such as child custody, child support and spousal support are generally heard by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
